III–F–26

This suit is a new model of an anti-gas suit and is used for gas scout clothing.

There are no markings of identification value.

The material of this suit is similar to the rubberized fabric used for the "Light Protec-tive Clothing 37" and "39" except that the rubber coating is on the outside and the fiber is green instead of gray. The suit consists of four parts:

1. Cap, R-F (Gashaube)

2. Jacket, R-F (Gasbluse)

3. Gloves, Shoulder, R-F (M) (Gashandschuhe mit Ärmeln)

4. Pants, R-F (M) (Gashose mit Stiefeln)

The cap is similar to the one described under item III–F–1 except that the sides are longer and draps over the shoulders. There are also snap buttons on the front and back which fasten to the buttons on the front and back of the jacket.

The jacket is slipped on over the head and tightened to the body by a tape fitting un-der the crotch. The sleeves are only elbow length and fit loosely over the shoulder length gloves which resemble the gloves described under item III–F–4.

The pants are a standard type, full length with rubber slippers vulcanized and sewed to the buttons of the pants legs. The pants are therefore a combination of the two items described in items III–F–7 and III–F–9.
