| PURPOSE: |

This kit is part of the Set, Replacement, Gas Defense and contains the tools and equipment necessary for the field repair of gas masks. |
| MARKINGS: |

The kit itself has no markings but the anti-dim discs in the kit have the markings des-cribed under items III–D–1 and 2. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The kit is an unpainted wooden box with a hinged cover; cloth straps are provided to keep the kit shut and the side from which it opens is fitted with a leather carrying strap. The kit measuring 2.1 x 6.5 x 13.6 inches and is divided into 8 sections which contain the following items for gas mask repair work: |
