| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of these transparent discs is to prevent the dimming of gas mask lenses by moisture. |
| MARKINGS: |
|
The discs come in pairs in transparent envelopes, marked "Klarscheiben"; the discs themeselves are marked "Innenseite". The envelopes are also marked width direction for use. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The discs are made of transparent plastic with a gelatin coating on the side marked "Innenseite". They are 2.4 inches in diameter and have a lip 0.1 inches high at right ang-les to the plane of the disc. These discs fit over the inside of the gas mask lens with this lip towards the face of the wearer. |
