| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of this item is to serve as a carrier for the snout type canister. |

No markings of any significance for identification are present. Manufacturers' or go-verment markings may be found on the inside of the cover flap. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The carrier is made of field gray canvanis rectangular in shape, and measures 3 x 4 x 5 inches. Two canvas flaps, each 2.25 inches long, are sewed to the top of the sides of the carrier and fold inward to cover the canister. The carrier is completely closed by an extension of the back side of the carrier, the extension being 8.5 inches long. The latter folds over the top of the carrier, and is fastened by two buttons near the bottom of the front side. |

The carrier may be fastened to a belt by means of a canvas loop sewed to the back of the carrier near the top. |
