| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of this blower is to draw air through the collective protector installation (10). |
| MARKINGS: |
|
The nameplate contains the following markings: Luftmenge, m³/min, 10; Pressung mm WS, 50; Handkurbel U/min, 39. Both the top of the blower and the nameplate are mark-ed: HES 10. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The air pump is a high speed fan type and can be operated electrically or by hand when electricity is not available, in which case a hand crank connected by gear wheels is used. The airflow is determined by a flowmeter and may be adjusted by means of the valve regulator near the flowmeter. |

The inlet neck is in the center of the top and is fitted with a flange with bolt openings to match the flanged outlet fitting of the Gas-Smoke Canister GS-10, item IV–B–17. The outlet is in the front side and it too is fitted with a flange and bolt holes. |
