HES 2,4

The purpose of this blower is to draw air through the collective protector installation (2.4).

The nameplate contains the following markings: Luftmenge, m³/min, 2,4; Pressung mm WS, 200; Handkurbel U/min, 37. Both the top of the blower and the nameplate are mark-ed: HES 2,4.

The air pump is a high speed fan type and is operated by a 220 volt, AC, 50 cycle motor. When electricity is not available, the blower may be operated by a hand crank, connected by gear wheels. The air flow is determined by means of a flowmeter and may be adjusted by means of the valve regulator near the flow-meter.

The inlet to the pump is in the center of the top where the female thread takes the male threaded neck on the bottom of the 2,4 gas canister; the outlet is on the front side and takes an elbow which connects the outlet to the hose leading to the ventilation pi-pes.
