Übungsreizstoff

This liquid is sprinkled on the ground for training troops in defense against tear gases.

The label gives directions for use, warns the user to aviod contaminating him-self with the contents and refers to the material as: "Reizstoff".

This dark brown liquid is contained in a brown stoneware crock 3.3 inches in diameter and 11.8 inches tall. The stopper in the neck is sealed with Plaster of Paris. A sprinkler metal insert tube is provided for despensing the lacrimatory liquid; it is fitted into the crock by means of a rubber stopper. The label refers to the sprinkler as a "Giesskopf".
