Übungskampfstoffkerze

The purpose of this generator is to give training in the defense against lacrimatory.

The label on the cardboard container reads: "5 Übungskampfstoffkerzen, Weiss".

The candles are packed in a thin cardboard box measuring 8 x 5.5 x 1.5 inches and covered with paraffinated blue paper. The candle is a gray cardboard cylinder 1.5 inches in diameter and 5 inches high, with two stencilled white bands and the word "Übungsmit-tel". The candle is initiated by a friction pull igniter in the top of the candle and the latter is protected by a slip-on cover. The candle burns for 3 minutes producing CN.
