The gaiters are used to protect the horse's legs against vesicant gases. |

| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The gaiters are made of a gray rubberized rayon fabric and have an extension spring enclosed in sleeve attached to the gaiters at four places around the top to hold the leg-gings above the knee or hock. A rubber band around the bottom holds the gaiters down in place. The gaiters for the fore-legs are shorter than those for the hind legs. Two fore and two hind gaiters make up the set. They are made in three sizes. |
