| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of this kit is to supply a miniature protable laboratory for the detection and sampling of chemical agents and contaminated materials. |

The markings on the inside of the cover are as indicated in the drawing. The manuals enclosed refer to the kit as: "Kampfstoffprüfkasten". |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The kit is a gray-painted wooden box measuring 14 x 7.3 x 8 inches. The cover is hin-ged at the back and locked at the front by means of a lock and key. The cover is 1.8 in-ches deep and the following items are contained in it and held in place by a thin sheet of plywood: |

The box proper has one compartment on the left and a removable box on the right side, which rests on a strip of wood across the center of the compartment. This space at the bottom of the box contains spatulas, stirring rods, string, pincers, a hammer and chisel, and 2 test tube racks. The rest of the equipment, which consists of chemical reagents, test tubes, sample bottles, funnels, Losantin tablets, etc., is contained in the compartment on the left-hand side of the kit and in the removable box. |
