This magazine is a carrier for the detector tubes described under item IV–C–9 to IV–C–15, inclusive.

There are no markings and identification value.

This container is an olive-green painted metal carrying case measuring 2.5 x 4.5 x 6 inches. On the outside cover there is a color comparison chart showing the 5 detector tube before and after testing. The chart has a transparent plastic cover.

Riveted to the inside of the cover is a glazed white plastic chart on which is printed the color identification bands, instructions for use, and the test colors. Two metal loops are welded to the front of the kit, and the cover is hinged at the rear.

The case has 4 longitudinal corrugations on the front and back to provide channels for the detector tube clips. Four sheet metal interior ribs act as separators for the metal de-tector tube clips which hold 10 detector tubes. A flat metal spring follower keeps the tu-bes available at the top of the clip.
