This shaker is used in a manner similar to the ones described under item IV–C–4.

There are no markings and identification value.

This shaker is made of fiber or sheet metal and is cylindrical, measuring 5.3 inches in diameter and 9.1 inches in height. Both the top and the bottom are recessed and inter-nally threaded to fit the combination cover and shaker handle. The bottom is perforated and the number of perforations open is adjustable by means of a rotating disc. When not in use, the cover is screwed into the bottom to close the shaker; when in use, the cover is screwed into the other end and the crosspiece in the cover is used as the shaker handle.
