| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of this blower is to draw air through the collective protector installation (1.2). |
| MARKINGS: |
|
The nameplate contains the following markings: Luftmenge, m³/min, 1,2; Pressung mm WS, 200; Handkurbel min, 38.2. Both the top of the blower and the nameplate are mark-ed: HES 1,2. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The air pump is a high speed fan type and is operated by a 220 volt, AC, 50 cycle motor. When electricity is not available, the blower may be operated by a hand crank, connected by gear wheels. The air flow is determined by means of a flowmeter on the side of the pump and may be adjusted by means of the valve regulator near the flowme-ter. |

The inlet to the pump is in the center of the top where the female thread takes the male threaded neck on the bottom of the 1,2 gas canister. The outlet is on the front side and takes an elbow which connects it to the hose leading to the circulation pipes. |
