These nylon sheets have uses similar to those of the paper and oppanol sheets dis-cussed under item III–F–18 and 19.

Some of the light brown sheets have the word "OBEN" printed in large red letters on an outside fold; the dark brown, black, and blue types do not have this marking. The light and dark brown types have the marking "80 Ly We (Tp)" in one of the reinforced corners; the blue and black types have the marking "80 Ly" in the corner reinforced with yellow nylon.

These sheets are all single layers of nylon measuring 79 x 47 inches and having cor-ners reinforced with squares of nylon colored differently from the sheet. The sheets come folded in 80 squares with a band of paper folded about them. All four types have a dull finished side and a glossy side and only the dull side is visible when the sheet is fol-ded. The sheets marked with "Tp" are intended for tropical use.

The sheet is carried in a pouch which fits over a strap worn across the chest.
