The purpose of these cylinders is to provide oxygen for oxygen breathing sets.

The cylinder is stamped with the following marking around the neck: "SAUERSTOFF, Füll 150 ATU". The internal volume is also stamped on the neck of the bottle. Manufactu-rers' markings are to be found on the bottle and on the valve.

These cylinders are made of heavy steel, have rounded bottoms and are painted y bright blue color. A chromium plated high pressure valve is screwed into the neck and can hold a pressure of 150 atmospheres of oxygen. There are three sizes of these cylin-ders available as indicated in the following table:

The capacity is usually stamped on the cylinder near the neck
