This material is used on gas mask lenses as an anti-dim ointment.

No markings of any significance for identification are present, except the word "Bril-lenglassalbe" printed on the tube and on the paper container for the tube. Manufactu-rers' markings and directions for use are also printed on the tube and paper packet.

The compound is packed in a tooth-paste type tin tube measuring 0.25 x 0.6 x 2 in-ches. It has a black plastic, screw cap. The tube is painted white and the markings are in black print.

A white cloth patch 2.8 x 4.6 inches is enclosed with the tube of application of the ointment; the patch and tube are packaged in a paper envelope 2.7 x 4 inches.
