The purpose of the carrier is to provide an individual carrying haversack for the civilian VM 37 or VM 40 gas mask. |

| DESCRIPTION: |

The haversack is rectangular shaped and made of field gray, light cloth, approximately 11.5 inches in overall height and 10 inches in overall width when laid out flat. The closing flap is fastened by means of a plastic button. A cloth carrying strap completes the car-rier assembly. |
