Chlor-Ammoniak-Nebelgerät

This screening smoke generator is used for screening large areas.

There are no markings of identification value.

The apparatus is mounted on a two-wheeled rubber tired traile and produces the smoke by mixing chlorine and ammonia. Two steel cylinders of ammonia and one of chlor-ine are fastened horizontally on the trailer with the valves to the rear. Mounted above the center cylinder is the mixing chamber and nozzle having an elevation of about 30 de-grees.

The apparatus operates under a pressure of 120 pounds per square inch. It is most likely obsolete at this date.
