There are no markings of identification value.

The projector consists of a barrel 24 inches long and made of steel 0.8 inches thick; it is mounted on a 22 inch metal excased wood spike. The internal diameter of the barrel is 3.75 inches and the lower part of it is reinforced with a metal sleeve having 2 carrying handles. On the spike, 8 inches below the base of the barrel, is a circular base plate 6 inches in diamter.

This projector fires the "Pot, Smoke, NbKS 39", item I–K–3, with a maximum range of 300 yards.
