GRENADE IGNITION SET, INCENDIARY, FRANGIBLE

PURPOSE:

This set supplies igniters to be fastened to bottles of gasoline for the preparation of frangible incendiary grenades.

There are no markings of identification value.

The igniters in this set are cardboard tubes fitted with a cover and measuring 4.8 in-ches long and 0.3 inches in diameter. The flame mixture is packed beneath the match head. The scratchers supplied are made of wood and are 4.9 inches long and have the brown scratching mixture on both sides for about one-half of their length. The pouch it-self measures 6.5 x 9 inches contains 20 tubes.
