| BODY CONSTRUCTION |
The body consists of a single piece forged steel cylinder with ogival nose, cylindrical midsection, and concally ta-pering after section. A fuze adapter is threaded in the nose, and the base is closed with a ring, which has a threaded extension for attaching the tail unit. There is no provision for attaching a tail fuze. |
| TAIL CONSTRUCTION |
The tail unit is of box construction and is secured to the base with a spanner lock nut. |
