| BODY CONSTRUCTION |
The tear-drop sharped body consists of two forged steel sections, welded together just aft of the supsension band. The after section is conical and the forward sec-tion is ogival, ending in a fuze adapter. The base is clo-sed with a base plate having a threaded extension for the attaching of the tail unit. There is no provision for a tail fuze. |
| TAIL CONSTRUCTION |
The tail unit consists of a cone with four (4) fins welded, or riveted, to it. Four (4) diagonal struts, are riveted to the fins, for support. |

REMARKS – This bomb is fitted with an extra suspension band, when it is to be dropped from a American bomb shackle. |
