| BODY CONSTRUCTION |
The bomb has an ogival nose section welded to a cylin-drical sheet iron body. The ignition charge for the ther-mite balls is contained in a perforated iron tube, which extends about three quarters of the bomb length. The incendiary spheres are loaded through an opening in the base of the bomb. |

The tail has four (4) fins and is detachable. |

REMARKS – The filling of this bomb consists of approximately 100 compressed thermite balls, weighting about .7 lbs. each. The thermite composition is as fol-lows: |
