Until 1941, SVK was charged with
the development of all German Naval mines, includ-ing aircraft types. The
specifications and requirements for the mines were laid down by the General
Staff, after consultation with SVK. If, during the progress of the work, it
was found that original requirements could not be met, the specifications
were modified ac-cordingly. In addition, SVK furnished first drafts of
instructional and operational pam-phlets, as required by Mine Inspection SI
(Sperrwaffeninspektion), and made manufactur-ing drawnings of the mines and
mine components for contracting firms. |
