Body Construction: The bodies of the Bombs Mk I and Mk II are same as those of the Smoke 100-lb. Mks I and II, respectively, except that the L.C. bombs do not have any provision for fuzing. The tail of L.C. and Smoke bombs are exactly the same.

Functioning: On release from the Small Bomb Container, the fabric tail of each bomb unfuris and acts to stabilize the bomb in flight. In impact with the target, the bomb break up and the filling is scattered.

Suspension: Three bombs are carried in the 250-lb. Small Bomb Container.
