The pump is issued to spray detector powder over surface for the purpose of detect-ing the precense of chemical agents.

There are no markings on the pump of identification value.

The pump consists of an olive-green sheet metal container having rounded edges; it measures 3.2 x 6 x 7.8 inches. Projecting from the upper end in the pump handle; the lower end has the screw capped opening for introducing the detector powder and the pump nozzle assembly. There is a metal carrying handle on the upper side. When the pump handle is drawn out from the container it exposes the plunger rod, which is 8.75 in-ches long and 0.3 inches in diameter.

The pump may or may not contain the pink or ochre powder.
