| PURPOSE: |

This item serves as a preliminary filter on the collective protective installation (2.4) removing the larger dust particles and foreign materials from the air drawn into the sys-tem, thereby increasing the life of the canisters. |
| MARKINGS: |

The side containing the outlet connection has the marking "VW 2,4" instead of "VW 1,2" as in the drawing. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
This prefilter is very much the same as the 1.2 model except that it has a larger case, a larger primary filter, and two "V" shaped secondary filters. The second of the "V" sha-ped filters is attached just above the first one. For further description of this model, re-fer to the description of the 1,2 model. |
