The purpose of this set is to supply two of each of the colorless and yellow-green eyeshields used to protect the eyes against dust and strong sun-light.

There are no identification markings present.

The pouch is made of gray-green viscose fabric and when opened has overall dimen-sions of 4.5 x 8 inches. The pockets at each end of the pouch measure 4.5 x 3 inches and open towards the center, leaving an interval of one inch in the middle of the pouch where it is folded in two.

Each set of eyeshield is folded about a strip of gray-green cloth which is in turn fas-tened to the pouch near the open end of one of the pockets. Two such strips of cloth are fastened near each pocket of the pouch and two eyeshields are packed in each poc-ket.
