The purpose of the pouch is to serve as the carrier for the "Light Protective Clothing 37" or "Light Protective Clothing 39".

No markings and identification value are present.

The pouch is made of a dark gray material coated on the outside with rubber; in some models, the rubber coating is on the inside. The flap is closed by means of two black buttons; the button holes on the flap are reinforced on the rear side with patches of rubberized fabric and likewise the places where the two buttons are fastened to the front of the pouch. There is a metal eyelet in each of the upper corners of the pouch and through these is passed a 4.2 foot tape (0.8 inch wide), the ends of which are tied to wooden beads which prevent the tape from slipping out. The overall dimensions of the pouch are 12.3 x 16.5 inches.
