The purpose of this liquid preparation is to prevent the fogging of civilian gas mask eyepieces. |

The label on the bottle is marked "Klarscheibenpräparat zum Tränken der Barikos-Luran Dose". |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The preparation is a yellow translucent liquid and comes in a 60 cc narrow mouth bottle with a pouring lip and a cork stopper. The liquid is oily and has a slight punget odor; it is a mixture of water, ethylene glycol and a detergent. The label on the bottle contains the directions for use of the liquid. |

The bottle is packed in a cardboard container with a pad applicator described in item III–D–20. |
