This material is made up into an aqueous solution and is used to disinfect gas masks.

The only markings present are those printed on the outside of the tube: "Nr. I Para-formsoda and Nr. II Kaliumpermanganat".

The components are contained in a sheet metal cylinder 7.0 inches high and 2 inches in diameter, with a removable cap of the same material at each end. The caps are held in place with a strip of gummed paper tape. The cylinder is divided into two compartments, one 4.7 inches long, painted red on the outside of the container, and the other compart-ment is approximately 2.2 inches long, painted white.

The larger compartment is filled with 250 grams of the purple crystalline "Kaliumper-manganat" and the smaller compartment with 100 grams "Paraformsoda" white powder. These are the same constituents as found in Desinfectant GM, A and B.
