| PURPOSE: |

The purpose of the carrier is to provide an individual carrying container for one Face-piece, GM, Headwound, and asseccory equipment. |
| MARKINGS: |

The cover is marked in white stenciling: "1 Gasschutzhaube." Various manufacturers' goverment markings are also present. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The carrier is a rectangular shaped, green painted, sheet metal box, measuring 10.5 x 2.0 x 12.0 inches, with a metal spring-catch and two metal hinges securing the cover. A spring-actuated, fabric covered retaining ring keeps the facepiece in place when the carrier is slung from the shoulder. The adjustable webbing carrying strap is attached to two metal loops soldered to the ends of the carrier. |
