| DESCRIPTION: |
|
These canisters are of the ribbed, snout-type and made of aluminum. The canister body is built from two sections of metal; the upper section consists of the externally threaded neck and all of the sides of the canister down to the base, and the second section consists of the flat perforated base. The canister may or may not be lacquered. |

The secionalized view shows the single heterogeneous pad of cotton, asbestos, and charcoal, which server both as a smoke filter and a gas absorbent. |
