This is a double-barrelled signal pistol used for 27 mm cartridges.

There are no markings of identification value.

This double-barrelled pistol is made of an aluminum alloy and weights 2.7 pounds. The overall length of this pistol is 11 inches; the barrels are 6.5 inches long. The pistol is "broken" by means of a lever situated at the front of the trigger guard and operation of this lever also cocks the hammers. This lever enables either barrel or both to be fired at will according to its position (the central position allowing the discharge of both simulta-neously). This pistol was originally issued to the German Air Forces.
