| DESCRIPTION: |
|
This flamethrower consists of a fuel tank, a propellant chamber, and the projector tube. The tank is cylindrical, measuring 11 inches in diameter and 20 inches in height. The propellant chamber, a 10 inch length of 2 inch pipe, is attached to its top at an ang-le and off-center. The chamber holds a fiber cartridge which contains 3 sticks of slow burning propellant powder and an electric igniter; the cartridge is 8 inches long and has a pair of electric wire leads. |

Welded to the center of the fuel tank is the "goose neck" projector tube which has a 9 inch vertical section and a 20 inch horizontal section. The empty flamethrower weighs 75 pounds and has a capacity of 5.5 gallons of fuel. The range is 50 to 60 yards. |
