CASE, FLAMETHROWER 41 W - 8 & 41 P - 8 |

PURPOSE: |
The purpose of these cases is to serve as containers for eight complete flamethrower assemblies. |
MARKINGS: |
The only markings are those found on the flamethrower assemblies; the word "Was-serstoff" on the "41 W" projectors and "Stickstoff" on the nitrogen cylinders. |
DESCRIPTION: |
Both cases are made of sheet steel with carrying rods on all sides and a pair of hinged doors on the top; the doors open in the middle. The cases both measure 17 x 29 x 48 in-ches and are painted yellow; they have five compartments of which four are used to hold eight fuel pack assemblies (minus hose) for the "41" flamethrower. The fifth com-partment in the "41 W-8" model has a chest which contains four "41 W" projectors, four connecting hoses, eight hydrogen cylinders (0.5 quarts), ten hot spot igniters and twen-ty batteries. In the "41 P-8" model, the steel chest in the fifth compartment contains four "41 P" projectors, four connecting hoses, thirty-two boxes of ignition cartridges (25/box) and fiber and rubber washers for the "41 P" flamethrower assembly. |
