This plow is used to turn over contaminated earth, thereby enabling troops and equip-ment to pass over without being contaminated.

There are no markings of identification value.

This plow is painted a buff color and is of the ditching type with a two wheeled, single axis chassis. The chassis, a V-shaped frame, has fastened and pivoted to its front end, a split type beau, the trailing end of which is curved to mount the moldboards and sha-res. Two uprights, welded approximately mid-way on the frame, limit the upward and downward movement of the beam. Electrically controlled hydraulic cylinders, located bet-ween the two uprights on the frame, are used to raise and lower the beam. Two boxes of accessories are bolted to the beam on either side of the hydraulic cylinder. The wheels may be fitted with rubber tires or steel rims. The plow has an overall length of 142 inches and weighs 2936 pounds.
