| PURPOSE: |

This smoke pot produce a screening smoke and may be used for training or whenever this type of smoke is required. |
| MARKINGS: |

The pot is marked with a broken white band and the letters: "NbK, NbK 39, or NbK 39 B". |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
This pot is a gray painted metal zylinder, 3.5 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches long. One end has a wire ring carrying handle an the other end, a threaded socket for the Smoke Munition Starter and the pull igniter. The pot contains an HC type smoke filling and burns for an average time of four minutes. |
