This smoke pot is obsolete but might have been used at one time for training in the use of screening smokes.

The letters "NK 28" are stencilled in white at the top of the pot; also a white band is painted around the middle of the container.

The smoke is a rectangular shaped container and is made of gray painted metal. It measures 2 x 2.8 x 7.7 inches. One end is fitted with a recessed swivel handle and the other end with the igniter socket which takes the standard pull igniter. This end also had two smoke emission vents covered by closure discs. The smoke mixture is a gray, finely divided powder consisting chiefly of HC.
