CONSTRUCTION: The fuze is of single piece construction with a closing cap in the nose and threads on the base for engaging the projectile. A long striker is housed in a central cavity and it is held in place by a centrifugal bolt. |
|
ACTION: On set-back, the striker engages a groove in the centrifugal bolt locking it in place. During deceleration, the striker creeps forward permitting the bolt to move out-ward clearing the central channel. The striker is then free to strike the detonator upon impact. |
