REMARKS: The bursting charge is in an aluminium container which is a tight fit in the projectile cavity. This projectile may or may not have a cannelure on the cap. A round exists for the Pak. 40 designated "Pzgr.Patr. 40 Pak. 40" which is an A.P. projectile with a tungsten carbide core. It has not been recovered as yet but is reported to weight 7.06 pounds. |
