DESCRIPTION. This fuze was developed
to supersede the (38) when employed in the SC 250 kg used as an
antisubmarine bomb. This fuze incorporates two firing circuits, a short
delay of under 1 second and a longer delay of about 1 second. The longer
delay in the green fuze is 0.75 second; that in the dark grey fuze is 1.3
seconds.

Safety switching is accomplished by depressing either plunger which
switches off the op-posite firing circuit. (See fig. 166.)
