CONSTRUCTION. The container is similar in construction to the AB 250-2. It however, has been modified by adding an additional pair of stabilizing fins and is fitted with side trunnions for employment with dive bombers. (See fig. 107.) Type II has a dummy fuze pocket added. |

REMARKS. The SD 2 bombs found in one container were of the modified design, without drogue and with the arming vanes cut to a triangular shape. |

COLOR AND MARKINGS. Dark green over-all with two longitudinal red stripes on tail cone. |
