Introduction

This chapter delas with four rockets, which are designed to erect a vertical barrage consisting of parachute-supported cables, or parachute-supported wires carrying H.E. bombs. These devices provide a temporary lethal deterrent to planes employing low-level attacks of dive-bombing tactics, and are supposed either to destroy or damage the at-tacking planes, or to cause them to abandon the attack.
