The special "green stripe" Base Detonating Fuze Mk 28 was issued for major-caliber H.C. projectiles, but is being replaced by the Mk 39. |

Mods 15 and 16 are identical to earlier Mods, but are fully moisture-resistant, with a silicia gel capsule in the auxiliary detonator plunger and all external joints coated with bakelite varnish over a lacquer base. Mod 17 has an additional booster charge. |
