This fuze is excatly like the Auxiliary Detonating Fuze Mk 17 Mod 8 (Mk 35), except that it has a lead azid detonator - for longer life - and a pointed firing pin.

Mod 1 of this fuze has an aluminum body; Mod 0 has a steel body.
