Modification - Fuze Mk 244 Mod 0 is the same as Fuze Mk 243 except for the delay ele-ment. Fuze Mk 244 Mod 1 differs from Fuze Mk 244 Mod 0 in that it has an added striker head and reduced shear threads. Fuze Mk 244 Mod 1 will function on ground impacts from altitudes of 1000 ft. and over. |
