The purpose of this kit is to supply spare tubes, parts and accessories for the hand gas detector set.

The lid of the case is marked in white: "Vorrat und Zubehör für Gasanzeiger".

The case is wooden, painted dark green, and fitted with a cloth strap carrying handle and two closing locks for the lid; it measures 6 x 14 x 15 inches. The inside has five sec-tions each for 20 packets of the five types of detector tubes: single black, single green, double green, single yellow, double yellow. There is also a wooden drawer containing parts for the double action piston pump, a pressure gauge for checking the pump and a 10 ccm brown glass dropping bottle. No provision is made for the tripple yellow or single red detector tubes.
