| PURPOSE: |

These tubes are used to detect and identify hydrogen cyanide and similar compounds. |
| MARKINGS: |
|
The tube have one black band and may be marked with the letter "e" on the end con-taining the capsules. |
| DESCRIPTION: |
|
The older model without the letter "e" is excatly like the old double green model: one loose capsule of brown liquid, one end closed by a cap with a square hole, and the other end closed by a recessed disc with 3 slots. The newer model with the letter "e" has solid plastic caps on both ends and 2 capsules of brown liquid with no separating disc. |

The tube are packed in tens in grayish-green painted metal containers measuring 2.5 x 4.7 x 0.5 inches. The slip-on cover is marked with one black band. |
