IV–C–12

The tube is used to detect phosgene and diphosgene.

This tube has one green band and may have the letter "C" stamped on the tube at the end containing 2 capsules.

This tube is similar to the others described except that the newer model, stamped "C" has 2 capsule without any separating disc. The old model single green tube is construc-ted exactly as the double yellow tube described in item IV–C–10 and has only one cap-sule of liquid.

The tube are packed in tens in grayish-green painted metal containers measuring 2.5 x 4.7 x 0.5 inches. The slip-on cover has a green band lenghtwise across the outside.
